Elie Meirovitz founded EZ Films in 2001, when he decided, after a successful career in international financial services, to dedicate himself to his first passion and true vocation: film-making. Since then, Elie and EZ Films have collaborated in several feature films in France and in Israel. Among others:

  • The Human Resources Manager” by Eran Riklis, the acclaimed director of “The Lemon Tree” and “The Syrian Bride”. Israel-France-Germany-Romania. Completed. Locarno Piazza Grande 2010 and Toronto Int. Film Festival 2010.
  • 7 Minutes in Heaven“ by Omri Givon. Israel-France 2008. Best Feature award at Haifa International Film Festival 2008. Official Selection Tribeca 2009.
  • The Seven Days“ (”Shivaa”) by Ronit and Shlomi Elkabetz. Israel-France 2008. Critics Week at Cannes 2008, Best Feature award at the Jerusalem International Film Festival 2008.
  • Noodle“ by Ayelet Menachemi. Israel-China-France, 2007. Grand Jury Prize at the World Films Festival, Montreal 2007.
  • My Father, My Lord“ by David Volach. Israel 2007. Best Feature award at Tribeca 2007 and selected in dozens of festivals worldwide.

EZ Films is currently developing several features, with both confirmed and debut directors, such as “Central Station” by Ami Livne (debut feature, Israel-France), “Intermediate Report” by David Volach (Israel-France) and “Nydelig” (France-Germany-Norway) by debut director Alexandre Castres.
